Good Lord - £100 to fill the car with diesel at Sainsburys yesterday. What's that all about?
OK I was pretty much on empty and my car does have a huge tank so I glugged in 73 litres. It's harder and harder to justify going flippin anywhere these days. Mother keeps banging on about when will I next visit her in Norwich and I remind her that it's a 300 mile round trip and half a tank of fuel so it's not that easy to afford, especially when you add in £1.50 each way for the Dartford tolls. I've just commented on Tonbridge Blog's heading about riding bikes on the pavement as I'm trying to leave the car at home as much as humanly possible. It's probably for the best for doing little bits and bobs on my bike anyway as I nearly got nabbed by the Traffic Warden Commandant in Sainsburys yesterday. He was hiding in his car - hiding! What next?

My first ever blog!!
Cripes, I hope I'm doing this right! I taught myself twitter successfully enough even though I still have an abacus on my desk. Kids, ask your Grandad...
Well, here's the thing, Paul's been a sole trading Fencing Contractor for over 8 years and he's decided to 'Go Large'. Has anyone else decided to expand in the midst of a recession? I mean there must be plenty of out of work and highly skilled workers we can tap into, right? And people are making more of their homes rather than moving on so fences, gates etc are still a sound investment. Anyway, my job is to keep the facebook and twitter feeds moving and I'm the pencil pusher while Paul is the muscly one. (Phwoar!)
There is a point to my ramblings, we'd like to advertise our handiwork in the most direct way, by finding visible fences to build, popping a cheeky little sign on them, and in return we'll work out a good deal.
To introduce us to the interweb our fab new website is almost up and running thanks to the amazing Jane Haselden at Gel Creative.
We live in Tonbridge and operate in the Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks area.
On a completely different note, I want to big up the Number 7 Arriva bus. We got it from Hadlow Road on Friday evening to Southborough - £3 return, on time and brilliant.
Would love to hear your comments on my blogging skills (no, really) so pls feel free.
